Hello! Neo Fighter (DT-03) & Blitzer Buggy (2011)

Recommended Posts

Just picked up these two after playing around with a Kyosho Sand Master buggy for several months. We grew frustrated with parts availability/cost in the U.S. The Kyosho is lots of fun, and pretty sturdy, but sometimes things break. Tamiya has much better support from what i can tell. The Tamiya is more of a true kit also, as the Kyosho had many more pre-assembled pieces.

I picked up some 13, 15, 17, and 19 Tooth steel pinions and ball bearings. We just plan to run them in our partial red clay/short grass big back yard for bashing around.

Are there any other must have parts we should consider before we get to building?

The Neo Figher has a Sport Tuned motor, not sure about the Blitzer.

My buddy gave me two new motors as he's gotten out of the hobby. One is a Durtrax Photon Speed 2 that I was thinking might work in the Kyosho or Blitzer buggy? And the other is an ARRMA Mega Motor Brushed 15T. It's the motor that comes in the ARRMA Vorteks and Granite. Not sure if I can use this one or would want to.
Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.
