There is something quite emotive about the Javelin - not sure why, but I think it has something to do with hours spent as a child staring through hobby shop windows. The Tamiyas of the same era are the same. I can almost taste the half-squashed peanut butter sandwich that I would have been eating at the time, stopping outside the hobby shop on the way home from school...

It is for all intents and purposes, a regular Optima with a different body (got one myself) but it sure is much nicer to look at.

Merry Chritsmas.

The picture below is one of my Javelins.

When I got the roll cage, one piece was missing. Without this, my Javelin is not completed.

Anyone who can sell this, please contact me. (shipping to Taiwan, Asia)

Thanks.

I need a few of those servo mounts, that is genius.

Thanks. It's no more than a simple idea.

I did this by hand-made.I think you can do it if you want.

All you need to do is to get an aluminium/carbon fiber plate and a saw.

There's a plastic part to fix the chain cover. I don't have one so I did this.

Although I didn't shape it very well, I think the aluminium plate makes it looking better.

This is my first attempt to make gear cover.

I know it doesn't look very good, I'm going to make a better one.
