New Sand tires available. Any reviews?

Recommended Posts

I think these paddle tires have been released one or two months ago. They sure look nice, sadly a bit expensive.

I was wondering if anybody here is already using them because I would like to know if they perform as good as they look.

With these I think there's sure a chance to make the Wild Willy 2 look better than ever.

Anybody?

they look nice all the styles...wonder how much that would be for the USA?

Total for them shipped anywhere is $62.00

That is roughly the price of a used Lunchbox! :(

oh yeah, they're the china stuff... supposedly sold out of Taiwan in that listing

you'll get a set of 4 with wheels for that price i think

good that they've bothered molding 3 different types of wheels + 4 different tyres

Well, the listing doesn't say anything about the wheels included. They don't suck, but I prefer the stock wheels.

there's a pulldown "Type: Select" box in the listing bud... choose which of the 12 types you want to buy

if wheels aren't provided then there's only 4 different tyres :)

I see. Then the price gets a bit better. Anyway, I can see the new Wild Willy looking much better with these new paddle tires.

These tires are very nice, especially desert and slick ones.

Either that, or someone had a GF-01! It brought a smile to my face, seeing Willy mixing it up with those scale drift cars...

Those tires are also good-looking, too - the sand paddles had me thinking 'Blazing Blazer,' even if the sizes are not the same.

Well, if anybody gets a set of these don't forget to share some photos with us.

I don't have any money these days, but they're definitely in the "someday" list for me.

Shoot, they should make those tires to fit the Willy M38 rims that would be a real treat

Yes, that would be nice. I guess the reason that there isn't any optional tires for those wheels is the fact that the older 4x4 chassis (Toyota and Blazer) and the M38 Willy have not been in production since over 30 years now :(
