Thanks for that info -
Hi guys what's the best way to polish the aluminium ball joints on a Avante. I have a cordless dremel but don't know the best attachments to use ie brass wire brush etc. Cheers Baz

Finally striped the buggy down parts everywhere lol time to clean down for the rebuild.

Thanks for the reply I will run it in my garden once in a while. My racing days are long gone as just can't find the time any more. Cheers Baz

Hi guys as the title says I have new frp decks to use to restore a old Avante do I need to seal the edges of the decks with pva glue ? any advice welcomed Cheers Baz
-
I bet it could tell a few stories the state it's in lol
-
Also when I strip this buggy down I will be able to see if I have ball diff and a one way centre diff or is there a easy way to tell.
-
Yes I think so and yes I will post as I build and resurrect this poor old avante lol
-
Also when new frp decks arrive I can compare to see if they are the same

Thanks for the warm welcome And at least my first instincts about the car seam to be right. I can't wait for my new upper and lower deck to arrive so I can start stripping the buggy down checking cleaning and replace parts. I have a original tamiya avante manual so it will make things easy.
