tamiya monkey 243 Posted April 20, 2014 Post a picture of the insides matey, if your using the original mechanical speed controller with modern radio there might be an issue with how its wired or the voltage its sending to your RX.
jhvaron 0 Posted April 20, 2014 thanks for the answer. this is a 2010 tamiya SC. so it work with the modern TX/RX. the buggy work perfectly for 6 month., then one day it desided not to run. and I´m going crazy thinking what happen.
tamiya monkey 243 Posted April 21, 2014 Hi mate i just read I have my sand scorcher with the original electronics, and wrongly assumed that you were running an original sand scorcher and not a re-re. Not sure what you issue is fella. Do you have a spare Rx or esc to test.
dualdigger 62 Posted April 21, 2014 I would guess you have a hung brush on your motor, take it out and clean it with some electrical spray and compressed air and retest.
mongoose1983 3335 Posted April 23, 2014 Juan, There is a chance that the ESC got ruined somehow. You can test the motor directly with some battery and if it works, then the ESC is the problem. Keep us informed!
