Matt888 61 Posted July 4, 2015 After 30 odd years of waiting I have finally got to build my very first Sand Scorcher, I used to go into Beatties in Broadmead Bristol and drool over these things always wanted one. By the time my Mum had saved enough to buy me one they had been discontinued, I was gutted, then a few months ago I was just browsing eBay when I realised they had been re released, I know I'm a bit late to the party but I bought it there and then and here it is finished. That was it's first outing it took off on it's own and luckily that and a grazed front wheel was all the got damaged, drove it with the aerial down, the second time it happened it bent the chassis but it's all sorted now.
