Is it plain, single colour vinyl or printed decals?

Some companies, XXXMain, Orion and Jackal spring to mind, make internal decals which are designed to be painted behind

The skull design here is on the inside of the shell, applied first, then painted over.

The decal starts with/includes the thick black outline.

All the other decals are on the outside.

yes you can paint over vinyl stickers, just 2 caveats

1) if the glue on the vinyl is easily eaten by the paint's propellant... it can go 'cloudy'

2) vinyl stretches & shrinks... overtime the edge with the paint can shrink away leaving a hairline gap

They are one solid colour (red) with no background...the only bit of the sticker is the actual writing which is on a backing sheet....they are cut from vinyl, not printed.....have alook at this to be explained clearer...

Ah ok, the reason I asked was why not use the decals as a mask instead?

Apply them to the shell, spray it, then peel off the decal and spray whatever colour you want the logo to be.

That way, you can have it any colour you like and don't have to worry about it peeling off or, as Willy points out, shrinking.

That's what I did with these;

Mitchymitchell try xxxmain Lexan Picture Glue it allows you to glue magazine pictures or comic book images inside of your lexan body, before spraying over the top .

Hope this helps next time.

That glitter flake looks cool ,ive seen it on a few shells over the past week.
