  2. NIB kit with the right size Hitec steering servo. Bought a few years ago but never got around to building it and now I don’t have the time or space. Starting at £200 & £10 p&p https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155109710281?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=T3IsJxs_Qiq&sssrc=2051273&ssuid=T3IsJxs_Qiq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  3. Have you considered a Short Course body. The wide arms of the TL01B fit the arches perfectly.
  4. Been modifying an old TL01 chassis to fit under a Group C Mazda 787B bodyshell 😏 I feel a build thread coming on… haven’t done one of those for a few years.
  5. Today is a sad day. My last TEU101 has finally given up the ghost 😢R.I.P. little buddy, we had some great times together.
  6. Hi, Ive just listed my Dynahead for sale on eBay. Built up new with rubber sealed bearings. Comes with 2 servos and a Y link fitted and it’s currently configured for 4 wheel steering, includes the parts to revert back to 2 wheel steering. Has kit silvercan, ESC with a Deans T connector and Flysky receiver. Only every test ran inside, never been outside. Bodyshell is cut and ready for paint. Comes with all decals, box and a few leftover bits. 7. Hi, I use to upload everything to Photobucket but since their policy change some years ago all my images are now low res and stamped or just completely held to ransom 😡 So I’m looking for recommendations for a similar place to easily share my pics with forums like this without having to resize or clog up the TC bandwidth. For info, I mostly take pics on my iPhone and will be uploaded over WiFi if that helps at all. Please help as the Photobucket debacle put me right off forums for years... but I’m feeling that itch again to join in the fun 😏 Thanks Nic

  9. Not sure yet, thinking I might back the cat with white to standout. Main body I’m thinking red blue or yellow.
  10. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_fid=2147723&share_tid=2&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tapatalk.com%2Fgroups%2Fcrispyandtherocketman%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ft%3D2&share_type=t Had these cat face decals in my stash since 2011 so I’m pretty happy how this looks so far. Usually paint the shell first but this time I figured it’d help line up the decals if I left it clear.
  11. He’s done the old girl proud... just a shame he’s too scared to run it 😉
  12. To be honest, I’ve always found Tamiya bottle paints an absolute knightmare to paint figures with as blending colours or overpainting another colour often pulls the original layer off, probably due to the high solvent content of the Tamiya acrylics. They are great for airbrushing though. I prefer Humbrol or Games Workshop acrylics (mainly as they’re easily sourced in the UK) to lay out the base colours and then use artist oil paints thinned with white spirit to add shading and depth. Heres a driver ive painted with a mix of Tamiya white & yellow sprayed over the helmet to get the flat colour, Games Workshop paint for the skin. After an oil wash and a little blending and details picked out with GW acrylics. Or here’s another that’s had a bit more oil paint added. Whatever you use a light dusting of Matt varnish spray will help protect your work and kill the shiney look some paints & washed will leave.
  13. If you’re even asking the question “Do I want a truck?”... then yes, obviously you do. Now go and warm up your credit card! 😜
