Does anyone else have problems with the front servo on the Twin Detonator. Mine was ok now it seems to be loose. For example the front wheels move freely when there is no power to the unit. When you turn the wheels using the transmitter, as it turns it clicks. I am using an Acoms servo, is this good enough or is there a stronger Servo I can fit. If there is a stronger servo can I still use the Acoms receiver.

The clicking is due to broken servo teeth. usually the Acoms servo is fine on this (after all probably 90% of those in use in the uK have this combination) provided the servo saver is fitted and working - if it's jammed or glued up all the stress goes through to the servo and it wipes out the gears very quickly.

I prefer Futaba servos, they are quiter than Acoms ones and will work fine with the Acoms receiver. The S3003 is the cheap entry level one, costs around 8 quid. I've been running them on the Twin Det and Wild Dagger with no probs for a year or so now..
