Lars,

I really like your site.

I was wondering if you had an article I am looking for in one of your
manuals? The acticle is details on constructing a custom body for a
car. It had templates etc. I recall it being towards the back of an old
RC Guide Book I had. Somewhere around the late 80's - early 90's.

Much appreciated, thanks,

Jamie

Thanks for the nice words ! [:D]

I believe I have found what you're looking for. The body looks kind of like the "Back to the Future" car (hopped up "De Lorean") ? Templates and all is there [:o] the body shown is built for a 1/12 Toyota TOM's chassis.

I'll add them to my site later today (hopefully), I just have to go skiing with the family first .. lol....phew...

Btw, the article is in the 1987 Guide Book.

Lars,

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.

You have some great scans and other interesting things on your site.
Such as the box art and 1:1 pictures. I never see much of this
particular stuff elsewhere.

Thanks

Jamie

Ok, the two pages are scanned and on the web.
Note that the grid (on both pages) measure 0,5mmx0,5mm in the Guide Book (and that is 1/2 Scale according to the article)

Good luck if you are starting a build [:)]
(Email me if you need higher res. scans, without the logo)

EXCELLENT. They will do just fine. I just so happen to have a Toyota
Toms. And a spare bumper for my 959s too. Although I wont get around to
building it for a while, thanks again.

Ahhh! You're the guy with the website. I hoped it would be someone here.
Yours was the first site I came across when I was searching for Tamiya sites, and I still visit it regularly.
I think what I enjoy most is the reality of restoring old Tamiyas. The new-built/never driven ones here are excellent for looking at how things once were, but it's fabulous to see some that have been abused, and then brought back to life.
Great site!

I have just updated again with more info, among other things a new section with Tamiya Posters.
And, a few more decals, catalogs, manuals etc. has been added.
And remember the relatively new Parts section! I promise to add more parts and parts references later :-)
Thanks,
Lars
PS: Let me know it there is any information you are missing on my site, If I have it, I will add it.
