Actually - I only supplied the pics - and a couple of "teaser" idea's/questions to Tony a number of months ago.........

I had no idea of what the questions were going to be......

In fact, my wife quizzed me on them - and I only got one wrong out of all of them (actually - I got it half right - it was the SACS question).......looking back it makes me realise just how much these cars have been a huge part of my life.....truly scary how much a kid with ver few close friends can learn [xx(] !! [8D](too much time with the cars for friends) !![:P][;)]

Cheers

Sorry for the off topic post !

Darryn

Slightly off-topic I know, but I couldn't resists a 'name drop' here for the ageing prog-rockers amongst us. Played a gig with my band last night and Carl Palmer turned up - he's a mate of our drummer's. He played five numbers with us - excellent fun [8D]

Interesting topic indeed.
I will have to mention two or three bands/singers of each kind so I can come up with something as my list of musicians would be literally endless...

Rock: Bachman-Turner Overdrive, KISS, Rolling Stones (tie with Sabbath).
Country: George Jones, Johnny Paycheck, Wade Hayes.
Pop: The Bee Gees, Paul McCartney, Electric Light Orchestra.
Latin: Julio Iglesias, Miguel Gallardo
Classical: Grieg, Beethoven

You all have a great Sunday! :D

I like stuff that people would think odd.

Probably my favourite act at the moment is Eluvietie from Switzerland. They play what could only be described as Folk Metal, and mostly about the fate of the Gauls at the hands of the Romans in the 1st century. Sometimes they even sing in Gaulish!

Rose for Epona

Omnos

Also I like Týr

Sinklars Visa

Hold the Heathen hammer high

And lots of other metal stuff, not black metal or anything without melody.

I listen to lotsa stuff mentioned here already (though not so much AC/DC or Nickelback *hisssssssss*)
My iPod's got Everything from Goo Goo Dolls to Vanessa Mae, to Garrison Star to Disturbed to Europe to Starship and Daft Punk...so I'm all over the map.
Recently I've been getting into Metalcore like Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold.
Resident Taiyo/Tyco Fanboy.

Changes like the wind, but currently I'm really enjoying power metal from the likes of Sonata Artica, Turisas, Dream Evil, Hammerfall, Firewind, Iron Fire, Dragonforce and Primal Fear

Other than that you'll find Alice Cooper, ACDC, The Darkness, Black Tide, Disturbed in there along with cheesey 80s disco for some extreme pants swinging action. If I'm feeling the need for something different, then on goes music from Yello, Kraftwerk and Jean Michel Jarre.

I really like classic rock and some old-school hip-hop. I guess some of my favorites are The Eagles, The Beatles, Pual McCartney, Electric Light Orchestra, Scorpions, Def Leppard, and Van Halen. For hip-hop it's Grandmaster Flash. :)
