He was regsitered when I paid for it. I got an email from him saying he would ship on Saturday. I'll just keep my fingers crossed and let you guys know....

In looking at this seller's ebay feedbacks, he is no novice in terms of tamiya rc stuff. So did he really not know what a new SS body kit is worth? Maybe he knew a suspension was coming so he trys to get some quick cash before the suspension? I always thought that if a deal is too good to be true, it probably is not true.

All those auctions' pictures have different backgrounds. It makes one wonder if those pictures are borrowed photos. Like I mentioned earlier, he probably knew an ebay suspension is coming so he made a few (too good to be true) listings to grab some quick cash. I hope you paid through paypal with a credit card. In case you don't receive the SS body set, most likely his paypal account will be empty already, you can still make a claim with your CC company.

I would love to believe that, but find it kind of unlikely.  I've
been bit by one of these before myself- The guy even maintained  excellent contact with me throughout the deal.. until his account went unregistered[8o|]



I'll cross my fingers for you- but you might want to get on PayPal early:


Even if you've paid by transfer, and the seller's account is dry,
PayPal offers a refund up to $200 for ripoff sellers.  They take
$25 as a service charge, so in your case you'd get your total paid
(with shipping)  minus $25.
