Hi,
Has anybody fitted F350 Hi-lift wheels and tyres to an XC chassis? I am having a look at this and it seems that i need to raise either the body (hard i think) or the ride height. Any ideas??

cheers

Hi there. I've put some on my Pajero but they really are too big. Unfortunately the tyres foul on the wheelarches when turning and when there is excess suspension movement.

Raising the body on the Pajero is very easy at the front, just remove the front body mount from the chassis turn it over and screw it back on. This will easily give you a 10 mm body lift.

At the rear, the downward movement of the axle is limited by the shock absorber extending to their limit. I myself have just made up some aluminium blocks and placed them between the chassis and the shocks.

Send me you email address and I can send you some photos.

Mud.
