Having just done wild one rebuild I notice something peculiar on my fav rebuild. There is no diff washer supplied or used in a fav, only the 5mm washer and plastic washer.
I happen to have an extra wild one diff washer. Would it be wise to install it?

I think the FAV has a wider bearing instead of the diff washer, but you probably should check the two manuals to see the difference.

I took a look at the FAV and Wild One manual.
I guess that before the world of loose "plastic bearings" they were just parts on a tree, "W" tree for the FAV. I noticed that they are a bit wider on one side than the other, but it makes me think.... What if you wanted to update to ball bearings?? Then you must have needed this "diff washer" found in the Wild One. Kind of wierd considering that the option 5073 ball bearing kit is mentioned already in the FAV manual.........but no mention of a spacer/diff washer.....
