The XTM is a clone/named version of an Eastern chassis, nothing XTM developed/invented from what I could find out.
You gotta love this though; "This design should yield no torque twist" urm, would that be due to the lack of front-rear driveshafts or some design magic?
It probably won't destroy planets either

Worm gears sound interesting - no coasting would add an extra degree of control in climbing-specific situations but could be very tricky to control and potentially destructive to gears to anyone who whacks in a fast motor and tries anything silly... Unless some kind of slipper is installed.
I would imagine the Kyosho will appear somewhere in the affordable-technical bracket, that XTM looks like it'll be expensive tho...
