The movie server's temporaily down

The word from the boss is;

movie hosts 'updated' the server and its killed the movies.
I'm on the case but Movie section is off line until further notice

You can see updates as they happen on http://twitter.com/TamiyaClubCom if you want - you don't need to subscribe or login, but it'll be faster than waiting for me to post, as he gotta tell me and usually does that once it's there.

For those that don't twitter, I'll keep you informed anyway.

Hi Andy -- I was wondering -- Is there a provision that would allow You-Tube style embedding in the movies section? You know, like a switch you could throw on your side that would allow the subscribers to embed video on their own.

The how to;

Upload your movie to youtube

Get the web address (for the example, )

The bit you need is after the V= _tyv2cdNc_A

Then, in the hi-res movie link box, under If you wish to use your own movie hosting then fill in this form

paste _tyv2cdNc_A and add .youtube

_tyv2cdNc_A.youtube

Dead easy - just make sure you use the lower 'If you wish to use your own movie hosting then fill in this form' section
TC Movies is still being worked on, which will mean you will get to use thumbnails to attract attention and other users can save your movies at whatever res you uploaded them
