Did anyone ever notice Sammy Screwloose has two rides, the Madcap and the Stadium Thunder. Any other Tamiya "drivers" have two or more rides?

Never noticed that before - but then I don't have a Stadium Thunder - didn't even know it had a named driver. Could it be one of the last to get a driver name?

If you can include him Willy must have a big garage for his variety of rides!

I guess Willy has three - the Wild Willy M38, the Willy's Wheeler & the Wild Willy 2? :P

I think that's it for invented driver names, but according to the Driver Names List (of the first 100 cars) at Tamiyabase.com, Jacky Ickx and Jochen Mass share 3 cars, and Jaques Laffite has 2.

Thats a great list! I love how names like Nigel Mansell are listed up against Tamiya's bizarre fantasy names!

e.g 58065 - 58069 reads "Klem Klubfoot, Harry Hurryup, Bullit Benny, Nigel Mansell,"

I suppose perfectionists might want to include the metallic Willy and the Wheeler 2 and well. Either way I think you can say Willy has had loads of rides.

Is it only the first 100 models that have driver names?, just realised the Sand Rover 2011 doesn't have a driver name. :)
I know it's only a small detail, but it's one of the things that draws attention to certain models and 1/1 rally cars usually have the driver names on them so it makes the models more scale.

The #58204 Blazing Star has "Harry Hurryup" as the driver's name. I cut the decal in half on my son's Blazing Star and made it "Hurryup Harry" because he's a good driver, but a bit slow on the track. Left the decal off on mine, instead used my own nickname.

I can be wrong, but I believe I've seen two Rusty Rumpotts. Anybody in the know?

There were 3, the Mudblaster and Jugg 1 & 2. Not sure whether he'll appear on the Mudblaster 2.Also, could Barf'n Barry be either of the Barry Volksons?... eh, .

Ah, the Juggernaut! That's where I've seen the Rumpott guy again, thanks for the reply, Steve. That Juggernaut truck has been an elusive model for me. I would love to have one someday. You all have a good weekend! :)
