Anyone got any tips/part no advice to make homemade links for a Clod (both steering and longer servo)? Just don't fancy shelling out loads on my Clod project so thought I might have a go at some home made ones first. Was toying with just using M4 rod with Revo rod ends but won't look as tidy obviously.

M3 threaded bar will give you something comparable to originalfor looks but ability to cut to desired lengths. M4 is a lot more robust.

A lot of guys on Clodtalk use Dubro ends, again bigger than stock - all depends what you are prepared to sacrifice in the non original looks department. I'm impressed with the quality of the Gmade ones as part of my Spider conversion, but again they are big (but very well made and strong) - not so much a problem as my chassis is suitably bigger to match !
History for last 30 months.. bought too many, not sold enough - current stable 46 EEK

For ball ends, Traxxas 5347 are excellent
RPM (I think) are also doing Traxxas ball ends now

I followed Twinset's home made link method to the letter for extending my TXT's wheelbase and confirm they're extremely strong. My TXT is big a heavy and I've jumped it numerous times with no signs of breaking or bending them.
