I can't vouch for the wildmone but the frog was enjoyable to build I like the space frame as it's a bit different from most but the wild one looks pretty cool also. Therefore my comments don't help at all!
You tempted me to get a wild one now though.
Oh dear

Wild One as well. Even though the Frog was more popular here in the States for racing, I always felt the Wild One to be the better handler (dispite the front trailing arm suspension that some felt was, at the time, getting antiquated). The stock Frog actually hops around quite a bit. The chattery undamped front suspension plus the overly stiff rear suspension is to blame. Now you could modify the Frog to be a decent racer back then but out of the box the Wild One was better. Besides its awesome scale looks, the Wild One has a low center of gravity that gives it a nice road hugging stable feel.

go the frog ! if you break it , there are heaps of cheap spares and complete buggies to be had . the froggear box , which i have never had a problem with , is a simple fix anyway .. .. unlike the wildone . if its a shelf queen , that either will do
52 rc cars -- really out of room now .. gotta stop soon ! .

Both!
I can't believe that nobody has said that yet.
In all honesty though if it only came down to how they handled off road I would have to say the Wild One for the reasons that have already been stated. It definitely handles the rough stuff better than the Frog.
The Frog on the other hand, while it doesn't handle as well it just shouts 80's RC to me.

Definitely the Wild One!!.. (check out my SIG, lol)
It handles way better than a Frog, and looks so much cooler (imo), and spares are not that hard to come by, and when (hopefully) it gets re-released, they will get even easier (and cheaper) to get hold of.
I have 2 Frogs also, and like them a LOT too, but in terms of looks and running, the WO is the way to go.
I run mine from time to time, not like its made of glass, but not like i wanna wreck it either, and it goes pretty well with a Tamiya Superstock RZ motor in it, and equipped with Sand Blaster 915 out back, and JR´s at front, mounted on nice and shiny mag-type wheels. (not in my pics, sorry).
A couple of years ago, i outran 2 Associated B4´s in my club, both of them running Raven 17 double motors.. Okay, they were not pro-drivers, but still, the ol´WO ran circles around htem.. It was SO much fun, lol.
Cheers..
