Holy cow, Batman! This is pretty much the coolest "modern day" buggy I've seen. Bit like what the Tamiya buggys were in the 80s.
Neat! What's sad is that now I will have to get one. One more thing to pay for ;)

Axial are releasing a new scale buggy and it looks fantastic http://www.rccrawler...0015/#more-2994 I'll be definitely getting myself one of these. Axial seem to be really amping it up as a company doing all the sorts of scale RC vehicles the market is crying out for. Its great to see.

Great follow up to the Wraith, the only thing missing in both is a driver. Of course, we (TC members) would only get kit versions wouldn't we??

Not just a driver, with four seats you could get a whole family in there.

Just a quick heads up - I followed the link from this thread through to the original one linked a couple of posts in, then on to the rc411 site - and picked up the nightmare "System Restore" virus/trojan!! I was on that site for about 20 seconds scrolling down the photos, must have moused over/clicked a link somewhere, odd because I'm always wary of these things.

This was my work PC too (on a coffee break...), so you can imagine the hassle getting it back to normal. I actually work in IT and it took me most of the afternoon to clean the virus off and re-set all the file attribute/permissions it reset for me. I still don't think it's completely back to normal either as I'm getting occasional re-directs to other sites from Google search results. We run the latest McAfee virus scanner as well on all desktops, so I'm amazed it slipped through.

Be careful out there! It was definitely that site, I didn't go anywhere else as IE8 just crashed on me.
Cheers,
Tim.

Hmmmm, how good would this look in desert cam with a few scale tools, rolled up scale cam net and a pintle mounted machine gun on the roof.

Am I the only one who didn't get a virus?
Could it be because I use google chrome, and not internet exploDer?
Or could I have the virus and not know it? How do I check?

In the future, I'd appreciate it if people didn't link to virus sites! And the link should be removed now so nobody else suffers..

You'd know if you have this one, it's a lot of work to get rid of.
If the site had infected my machine, I'd hardly post the link up for everyone else now, would I :)

I use Firefox and Avast AV and have both sites open at the moment with no virus warnings.
The internet's a dangerous place people, get protection :D

Short of banning all links on the off-chance one may contain something nasty, TC can't protect you against viruses

The last time we got the S/R virus at work, or even some kind of alert, it was down to a hacked advert on eBay IIRC - one of the flash/animated external links they run in the outer margins of their site.
Ebay itself was ok, it was just one of the cycled ads that was a problem.

Ok :) Well then, might it be unrelated to this site at all then?

I can definitely attribute the virus to that website, so be careful! As already posted, I'm at work and it still got me!

You better let McAfee know then, a combination of Firefox and Avast seem to have it covered :)

AVG site checker says it's ok too;

So does McAfee

Yep, I've already reported it to desktop support (I'm development) so we'll see what happens.

I have a mac at home using Firefox and no worries!  BTW, great looking buggy - I want one. Agree this needs a desert camo look.

Looks pretty sweet in white too - first white RC car I've ever liked the look of!

Apparently its going to be about $350 and Axial are kindly releasing it in kit form right from the off. I've seen the new HPI scale buggy and I'm impressed with that too. Its great these companies are finally going down this road. Guess I'm going to have to start saving....
