On-Road Racing Classification

So I've been thinking of getting into on-road racing as something to do during the cold months. I am a total newb at the classification system that is being used by my local hobby shop, the only one with a track in the area. They use ROAR sportsman touring and worldGT classes that would intrest me, however looking through the tracks rules and ROARs I can't seem to determine what constitutes a touring car or worldGT car. Is a touring car something like the tt01 chassis and the worldGT similiar to the TA05 style chassis?

WGT is Pro10 stripped down a bit. Cars are narrower for starters and more scale. I tried it, though didnt race, bought a DB10r, lotta fun, but i prefer the 4WD of 190mm touring cars.

Best to go down the track and actually SEE the cars.

World GT would normally be a pan car class with foam tyres. Despite what the old hands who race these cars will say, these are not easy cars to get to grips with.

Sportsman touring is probably 4wd touring and both TT-01s and TA-05s would be eligible, along with a host of other chassis. If they are on rubber tyres, these cars are easy to get to grips with as long as you build them right.
