Recent rummage at the parents house seen me and George leaving with a bad of corgi toys, James Bond with the A Team van and General Lee thrown in.
Unfortunatley some windows have bleached in the sun while the rest of the model is mint.
Does any one know a way to restore the plastic?
Im experimenting at the minute by soaking in hot water, while another sample has been rubbed down with autosol and fine wet & dry, showing a slight improvement but waiting for dremel to charge up so I can buff up with T cut.
I can get a replacement window for one DB5, but they dont do one for the "casino royale" version.
Its a shame cos they are around 10 year old, mint, boxed and (almost) unplayed with, not very valuable now, but maybe go up in the future.
Any help would be great chaps.

what do you mean by "bleached"... = gone lighter?
some clear plastics like acrylics go yellow & cloudy under UV, can't do much as its all the way through
polycarbonates usually don't
white plastics & nylons can yellow under UV, sometimes its just the surface.
I hear some ppl have success bleaching with peroxide.
