Another day, another problem buyer.... sigh.
Left me a negative without opening a case, or even telling me he wasn't happy...
I'd have been happy to offer a full refund - I wouldn't even care if I didn't get the item back - I'd have skipped it if nobody had wanted it.
Surely eBay should force a buyer to at least open a case before leaving negative feedback?

What gets me is when they leave negative feedback with a positive comment
they are some weirdos out there and most of them use ebay.

Can't you get buyers to agree to change their feedback after the event? Have you tried making contact?Left me a negative without opening a case, or even telling me he wasn't happy...
Edit: Forget that - just had a quick look at his feedback and I think I can see why he didn't try to communicate; he obviously can't

Sadly, eBay being based on trust, means there are some people less trustful than others.
My partner had a case raised on her yesterday - its funny that out of the 100+ items she sold since Christmas, the one she had to chase for payment, finally being paid 2 weeks after auction end ( because it had been ''overlooked''), is the one item that supposedly didnt arrive. 9 other items of her's and 2 of mine posted at the same time all arrived the next day (despite second class post), yet two weeks later this buyer raises a case without any other contact. Whilst its buyers word versus sellers I'm more inclined to believe the item was actually delivered and the buyer is just trying it on because they can and ebay will probably side with them in a 50:50 case

Whenever I sell anything on ebay I allways send it signed for delivery. It's not only for their protection it also protects you. If they sign for it they can't come back and say it never arrived. The vast majority of buyers and seller on ebay are honest, but their are allways those that aren't.

Well, I have to say this one had a happy ending too - I offered the buyer a full refund (including postage both ways) and he sent it back. At this point I considered keeping the money and the negative feedback, but I'm not that mean and I really didn't want the negative feedback so I sent the refund. So then it just came down to a feedback revision request and I'm pleased to say he's changed it to a positive.
Now I just have to sell it again... (fingers crossed).

Glad you got your 100% back! I just looked up the Netgear SC101 and it's a SAN device, not NAS, that only works with Windows and even then has to have a special driver installed and is a bit glitchy.... not much love for it on the forums
