Really enjoyed this even though cutting and adding the decals was very hard in case I messed it up
Final words, get it out and build it if you’re really a fan, your love it

M Pro, can you tell me what you used to apply the deals, as in, what did you use to position them or did you just do it by eye? I have heard warm water with a tiny bit of washing up liquid works a treat?
I will definitely be building mine, i cannot wait to get those gorgeous Pink wheels out and on show!

The way I did it was to cut them out, then peel a little bit of the backing paper off and then I cut off that part of the paper leaving that part bare.
Then I lined it up on the body using the paper backed part and once in place I stick down the part that has no backing paper and then slowly peel off the backing paper off the rest while slowly applying it on the body :-)
Doing it this way meant if I didn't line it up right at first I could just peel it off again and then go again
Hope that make sense

That is exactly the same method as i have used since i was 11 haha It does work but i was just a little unsure with those large Silver decals as they look pretty menacing! I guess being vinyl they adhere to the contours of the body without creasing/bubbling/lifting as yours look to be perfect?

Love this, such a wonderful neat job. I feel your pain on the decals, i did my Boxart 2011 a couple of weeks ago and did sweat a bit. Cant find any pink wheels, so i plummed for a set of white to try.
Did you use a RIT dye on the wheels, as, if the white look a bit hoopty, ill have to dye them. Im doing a BS body as a bit of a change for my own display only 2011, but, still reckon ill end up buying a fuill BS kit lol.

I say the blue one as all others he left it unpainted. But then I think Tamiya Era might be right as the 2nd on from right looks to be technigold motor but I can't tell as it's hard to see

Well my new wheels arrived today and in the pot they went
Had to rig something up so they were not touching the bottom
Yummy allmost ready
And all done
You have to ask yourself
What’s stopping someone getting loads of the white ones and then dyeing them black and then selling them on ebay as egress wheels.. that’s if it’s not happening already
So now I have two sets of black wheels
The new ones i did here for my black avante and the old ones I think ill use on my Avante 2011 runner

That looks spot on, can you divulge how and what you are using to acheive this finish?
