That unpainted, transparent shell is so ugly... what a waste
What a great first post! Why do people knock other individuals preferences, I dont get it. Im only in my 30s and my parents taught me to only say something if you have something nice to say. What happened to that ideal? Nice looking car bud! If you ever get the urge drive it! I drive mine and it is a blast!

It is funny because it reminds me "the emperor's new dress". Everybody just keeps saying how good-looking that unpainted shell is. But in fact it is just an unpainted shell which is suppose to be painted. When looking at a distance I can't see the nice aero-dynamic, fighter-jet like shape. All I see is just a mess of decals floating in mid air inter-wined with cables of electronics.

Nope it looks awesome to me.
The stickers suit the clear body better then any other clear shell that I've seen.
I say as a shelf queen no paint job will beat that.
As a runner NO as the scatches will really mess with the ultra clean F1 style body set.
Simply awesome with the black edition stickers. Well Done!
Cheers
Vintage all the way!!!!!!

I agree in the substance with Alienbat, I don't agree in the method.
Anyway I also prefer painted bodies cause unpainted ones seem unfinished, loose their shape and the color is the character of a car.
But this is only my opinion. People can do what they want obviously.
De gustibus non disputandum est.

Kontemax you are gentlemen and that is how you voice a constructive opinion, not the rude manner in which Alienbat did.
Indeed. ...dont know why that person acted like thus!!!!..
After all it is your call to paint or not to..
And yea, Bruno always a great gentleman. .:-)..

Anyway the car is beautiful, painted or not.
There's always time to change idea and add some black to this car
My opinion also goes for yellow wheels that match better with black and with yellow stickers.

PS Thanks for the gentleman...

The amount of "political correctness" here sickens me... why can't people just say what they feel?
In short: you think it is ugly.
No, this contradicts to what you've said. You said it just to keep your title of "being polite" and make the car owner feel better.

The wrong words could start a war or not land the job you want. The right words could nail that girl you dreamed about or keep all your teeth in your side your month. So instead saying is ugly, as you see it and fairvenough , say it it has character or interesting
sugar coat it and let the words fly. Some can handle the truth and some " can't handle the truth"
For that model i would paint half and leave the other side blank to show the innerts.

No. I like the car. I prefer a painted body for the reasons I wrote. Even unpainted it remains an Avante body. There's always time to change idea and paint it in the future.
So there's no contradiction. I like the car, I repeat, I prefer the painted body. Even unpainted it remains an Avante body and even unpainted the Avante remains a beautiful car.

Gotta say, I normally opt for painted, but man that black special looks beautiful. It's almost like a technical 3D model designed to show the internals of the car while still showing the lines of the body. Top stuff!
I've finally added some of my cars to my showroom! - Come take a look!
