Great Pics, love those trucks there so over the top its great. Earlier in this post i posted a link to Super Pete pics and if u go to bottom and click on back to gallery .. it shows you most of all the Monster trucks built.

I think Tamiya when they designed the original clod all those years ago got it spot on with the RL counterparts, which were giant car crushing monsters, true kings of arenas.

I noticed when i use my Bullhead the tyres on landing bounce and baloon like there RL counterparts... and just like there RL counterparts .. in my view, the Clod & Bullhead are car crushing arena kings.

I love the Clod & Bullhead for what they are .. and thats a True Monster that was meant to be crushing things, bouncing over earth mounds .. and making the crowd go wow.. :)

Ran across an original at Pacific Mall on the weekend. It was in an airsoft rifle store and the shopkeeper was using it as a counter display. Photos don't do these things justice.

Well, I had to post some pictures of mid-late 80's Monster trucks to reply this specific comment.

Myself, I love both, the Clod Buster and the Bull Head just because I am very much into realism. That's why I like Tamiya. If you have a look at these pictures, I am sure you'll start loving the Clod Buster. No other 1:10th Monster Truck in the market is (or was) as close to the real thing as the vehicles in the Tamiya catalog.

"Realism" anyone?

Just not my cup of tea. But they do appeal to a lot of people. For RC scale I generally prefer "regular" vehicles. On the other hand I like the Avante and RR which are not your regular or an actual vehicles. At 1:43 diecaste I prefer racing cars because of the decals involved. Does that make any sense? On the other hand if Tamiya would make the Clod with metal frames similar to the ones in the photos, I would like it.

Ah the good old P Mall. I try to go by there once a year along with Adance Hobby at Midland and Sheppard. I think a cash deal would score you the Bullhead or those airsoft rifle with no HST.

I see. It's just that you don't like monster trucks (even though the Clod Buster is actually a scale model). Myself, I don't like on-roaders. Matter of tastes I'd say. ;)

Well I already have a Jugg2 which is actually what Tamiya 1/10 sounds like he wants when he says this:

Yeah I forgotten about the Jugg. But somehow is still not quite there for my liking. I thought I would like the new 3 spds Tamiya put out but is not quite there compare to the old 3 spds or the rere Brusier. Like Mongoose pointed out is a matter of taste and is getting what you like regardless what other say. I think purple socks with green pants is a good color combination. .

Aye all about what you like and prefer .. thats what i love about the hobby and Tamiya .. theres somthing for everyone.

The reason i like the Bullhead is its so old school .. its bold and brash.. simple enginering yet i found tough as bricks, with faults.. but hey everything has faults :)

I jump it off a skateboard ramp and crush old lexan bodies .. just like the 80's Arena Monster trucks... and it just keeps on going :)
