I've just ordered kit #56307, the Mercedes 1850L Delivery Truck.
What pitch pinion do I need to order to replace the Tamiya stock one ?
Also, am I correct in thinking of getting a higher turn motor (crawler type) to slow it down to more reasonable speed ?
I've read about improper steering geometry up front too. Solutions ?
Thanks.

I have one of these NIB waiting to be built. Great looking little truck!
On my other trucks I have not replaced the pinion (Didn't see a need to with all the low speed running).
You will want a 55T or higher motor to slow the truck down to scale speeds. Even running a 60T motor, 3rd gear is quite fast!
The Scania I'm building right now has the same steering geometry issue. I haven't tackled that one yet. A google search will probably get you the info you need on that one... Or Gozone could detail it if he reads this thread.
Good luck on the Delivery truck! Make a build thread!

I just realized, all you need is a Knight Hauler, and then we'd have the same 3 trucks! Haha...
Which you going to build first? The Scania or the 1850L?
You are correct ! The scania i packed away so I'll be working on the 1850L and my bruiser re-re at the same time the next few weeks. Just painting the bruiser bits now then assembly.
Just ordered the following for the 1850L:
- Novak Eiger esc/Terra Claw 55 turn motor combo (has basher mode that cancels drag brake)
- RC Damper front & rear alminum wheels
- Tamiya oil dampers (the new truck version)
- Better tires (from stellamodels not sure make)
- 3Racing led system
- Bearings of course
Need to find that wrap chrome stuff though
PS: I'll put a request in for that Knight Hauler with Santa --- I mean the Mrs !
