Hi all,

I recently ordered Tamiya 56330 NYK 40 foot container and semi trailer on Ebay, from the wonderful Stella Models.

I would like to thank them for their service. they really do go the extra mile to exceed themselves...

My kit came in a very rigid, glued together box, which was totally sealed in film in case of getting wet. Inside the box, I found the kit wrapped in bubble wrap and taped at every joint. I think this kit could have been submerged for an hour and survived??

To my amazement, I then discovered upon opening the box that Stella models had also wrapped the parts in bubble wrap and packed out any gaps with polystyrene slabs. This kit was not gonna get damaged what ever happened to it!!

Thankyou Stella models, I wish everyone took this much care with their packaging.

I never, ever have had a bad experience with them, and they go that bit extra... I remember the glass in my Blitzer Beetle had been carefully removed and wrapped in bubble wrap before being sent. That is care

I have been buying from Stella for only the last 18 months but I have always had the fautless service and detailed packaging of which you speak.

Recently I had to buy a one only set of tyres and I would never normally buy one item only. I now wish I had taken a pic of the packaging. Bubble wrap on bubble wrap and the box was then lined inside with shaped foam that was like a casket followed by clear taping the box. The tyres were intombed like an Egyption King.

Bravo Stella, I would say keep up the great service but that I think is a given.
