I was in a LHS recently looking for low turn brushed motor. Found a few but none have wirings, I asked the owner if any with wirings soldered on available, (hint hint). In one thoughtless answer he suggest I just "tape" or "glue" the wires onto the motor terminals. If the reply was from his young & inexperience hire hand, I can accept, but from the owner who builds detailed RC model battleships from 1/350 to 1/200 scale, I cannot accept. I just thank him for his suggestion and walked out.
I guess he just want to rid his brushed motor and the dollar involved was not great. Real business person will offer the soldering service and the wirings all for a fee. I guess he rather go back reading his newspaper. Now we can see why some businesses are more successful than other or why some just can't make it at all.

or maybe he was talking about this "glue"...
Yeah, I recalled he was reaching behind for something while telling me to tape or glue it together.... I guess his butt cheeks got soldered together and couldn't pull it out and show it to me, else I would've have bought it right there and than. my apologies to this monkey
