My other thought was just use Wheely King tires which will give me another 1/2 inch of DiameterSorry Bromvw, did not mean to derail the thread :)

The more I think about it..

I thin k I might just go with a slightly bigger tire (WK Mud Thrasher) and call it a day.. much less complex to make work

The thoughts of the bigger tires is cool but I will have to change quite a bit of stuff for it to work..

Might buy those BIG tires for a later project though

I'll admit that getting it to work was a lot of thought Jeff . It was a case of thinking about it for a few weeks , finding the parts and then putting it all together . Belive it or not the actual build only took a couple of days including the painting .

My new project is a short wheel base beach buggy using SRB parts - this one is a lot more involved and i'll have to get creative and fabricate most of the modificatings myself as no after market pats are availabe . That means making a chassis plate , cutting down the shock towers ect ect . Hopefully the effort will be worth it to make another one off .

I have'nt given up on the idea aft but its taking a lot longer than i hoped . Finding somewhere to get it cut at a reasonable price is the issue .
