Those are the Porsche wheels, right? Not a good match, IMHO. Get some HPI Vintages..much more street-rod appropriate.

The wheels and tires are bone stock RC10DS. I haven't even had them off of it and the box shows them as standard.

As for the color, Ya it changes pretty much every time you look at it. If I'd have taken it from a foot taller or shorter in the same light it would look different too.

late 1980's firebirds had those wheels, and some other GM vehicles as well not just glorified VW's

look ok on there, many hot rodders will put most anything on when they get a good price
