Don't forget to factor in the shipping costs. This is a very large heavy kit box with higher than normal shipping.

That's pretty cheap. The Cheapest I see on ebay is US$735 with US$79 post ex-HK.

NOT IMPRESSED with RC4WD's packing efforts when they shipped out TF2 from HongKong.

Actual fact about packaging... there WAS NONE - ZERO - NADA - ZIP!
Parcel wasn't even paperwrapped, they just stuck shipping label
onto the shrinkwrapped kitbox and sent it on its merry way.

Luckily TF2 has a lot more padding in kitbox than Bruiser... your Bruiser won't survive.

It 100% depends on where you live? You didn't tell us that. If you live in Hong Kong or Japan get one there. If you live in Europe or the UK get one from Germany, if you live in the Americas get one from the USA.

The Hong Kong and German prices are only about €20 difference when you factor in shipping and that €20 would get (easily) eaten up by VAT if customs nabs you. The risk of slow or poor delivery from Germany is about 0%, somewhat higher from Hong Kong.

My TF2 arrived really well packed from RC4WD in HK. In fact everything I have ordered from RC4WD has arrived well packed.

This is so true. If you check out the price plus shipping, the resulting cheapest store might surprise you.

Tower is the best if you are in the UK?

listed at $829, use code 014RJ to get $200 off = $629 (£400) + either $100 (£63) air or $150 UPS (£96)

Customs, vat, handling fee etc etc will be about 23% overall, so thats £92.

Overall from tower all done and dusted £555-£588 depending on shipping

OR

buy from Hong Kong and get them to mark the value down and you might get it for £500.

Im all for saving money but personally i'd go with Tower, its insured against loss, you can track it and its all legal!

I would think it should be the cheapest in Japan. In Hong Kong, have seem it for US$600.00. (did not check all the hobby store so not sure if is the cheap or expensive side)

Japan streetprice is about JPY54k.

JapanPost can sometimes be slightly cheaper than HKpost.

Stella models looks to have one left for $680, but the box is slightly damaged. Maybe not an issue if you intend to build it. They ship quickly if things are in stock and their packaging is top notch.

I don't know if it's re re or original but there's a really nice one on Craigslist Denver for 400 dollars. You can do a search and see for yourself.

Also, they've become strict or should I say smarter and check up on the coupon codes now.
Years ago guys would swap codes back and forth but tower caught on and now check the codes to what they e-mailed you.

they never used to email the codes...? it was always printed somewhere - flyer, catalog, magazine ad

also they used to give a lot of freebie codes, which added small goodies to your parcel.

ahh the old freebie codes. Sadly those are long gone. Tower went online in the mid 90's. I have been on a mailing list since.

I can remember way back in early 80's, the photo copy sheets of paper add-flyers stapled together :)

I got mine from Stella at release in end was under £500 delivered and in pristine condition, tough outer box all taped/wrapped very well then inside kit box block of polystyrene cut to suit to fill all voids and bubble wrap to!

Last time I looked it was was over £700 un UK, I would expect to pay more for it in UK but £200 more is a bit much!
Thanks
Lee.

Latest Bruiser re-re = awesome build! tank or 3spd truck next...................
