Now you are talking.

So this looks like a Top end radio from Fly Sky.

Good stuff. I don't race often enough to drop my DX3R. My hacked 3GTB is doing well for my vintage runners. But nice to know all the same.

Cheers

Looks like the same transmitter will be available rebranded from Carson Modelsport soon:

http://www.carson-mo...ArtNr=500500516

wonder if they will add to the price over the flysky branded item ,, so far i've seen it on ebay from £100-£150 , i like the touch screen and swivel steer wheel on the transmitter but the large rx and lots of modules does put me off , hopefully they will release a 4 channel micro Rx without the telemetry , i have been having a look at the youtube vids and the touch screen interface seems to be very well done ., no doubt apple will be suing them for copyright infringement soon enough

This system has some really cool features, but some that they list, aren't really spot on. The dual channel mixing isn't very good.

Here's a thread on it with people using it and giving feedback.

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/electronics/415424-flysky-fs-it4.html

I think as long as you don't need true mixing, or winch controllers, etc, it'll be a nice little radio.

someone did get it to operate a winch by assigning ch3 to the trim buttons so thats not an issue but if you want front and rear digs with a winch and 4ws then its a no go, for my crawlers and all the other cars i run it would be fine as i dont do 4ws, digs etc but as i mentioned i will stick with my trusty old dx3r(with cracks all over the case!) for now ,

something i do find odd is that spektrum didnt go for a touch screen with the dx3r pro ,, they missed a trick there that will make a lot of folks jump right on the flysky band wagon , i will keep an eye on them , might get one if they bring out a version without all the telemetry . ;)

Yep, you can make a winch work, but you can't jump to 100, 0, -100 trims.

I've got a GT3C, have the hack kit but haven't hacked it yet. I really like the GT3C, and I'm hoping someone hacks the iT4. It has potential for sure.

scuse my ignorance here but why would you want +100,0,-100 , 4WS?

Also to use as a winch controller.

Most of the gripes on the features come from crawlers. Seems we use more, need more advanced features than the rest of the rc community.

not sure if anyone noticed but this radio has a quick access button on the grip, this can instantly reverse any channel its assigned to for as long as the quick access button is held down , so, if you have a channel for a winch you can set it for +100, 0, then use the fast access button to get -100 , one of guys in the thread on rc crawlers is using this radio with a winch without issue , take a look at the many video's on youtube , its all there.

:)
