#467965 cheapest place for Re-bruiser?

Posted by WillyChang on 17 August 2012 - 08:29 AM

NOT IMPRESSED with RC4WD's packing efforts when they shipped out TF2 from HongKong.

Actual fact about packaging... there WAS NONE - ZERO - NADA - ZIP!
Parcel wasn't even paperwrapped, they just stuck shipping label
onto the shrinkwrapped kitbox and sent it on its merry way.

Luckily TF2 has a lot more padding in kitbox than Bruiser... your Bruiser won't survive.

all those times you've "conveniently" used Facebook Connect... you really think its for YOUR convenience? ;)

#462080 Nobody really understands me! (or you). Discuss.

I've given up explaining... life's too short for that.

Our hobby isn't blacklisted by any Good Book (bible, quaran, meinkampf, the little red book etc)
therefore it must be perfectly good & permissible for good humankind,
so if they don't understand just leave me alone at it.

here runs IP.Board

i prefer non-mobile versions, no problem with browsing fullwidth portrait using Safari with Retina screen.
Pre-Retina was a bit blurry at small sizes but ok on landscape.

was browsing LHS today killing some time... found little purple bottle winking at me hidden amongst the styrene Cement

Hadn't read this thread beforehand; was curious enough to buy.

Got back... grabbed 1st victim... factorypainted Tamiya shell (assume its PS5)

ahh must be a fluke... lets try something tougher... how about screenprinted lexan?

fingers got too sore from all that rubbing with wetted cloth, so scaled it up a little... neat liquid + scrubbing toothbrush

Doesn't seem to soften or leave any marks on lexan.

Its weird stuff... can hold a wetted cloth to the paint & nothing happens... until its rubbed pretty hard for quite a while.

Neat liquid sitting on the paint did nothing too... until scrubbed hard with toothbrush. (yes it ate some of the Oral-B too)

It evaporates fairly quickly & stinks (a lot like the orange bottle styrene cement) heaps.

And it absolutely destroys stickers!!   :o
