Thanks everyone for the advice.
After looking at some other TC members Wild Ones and Foxes, think I'm going to persevere with stretching the tyres onto the Wild One wheels I have already (plasters at the ready!), hopefully they won't crack.
I'll post pictures sometime soon of my Hornet/Rising Fighter hybrid with the new tyres fitted.

I've got Troll tyres on my Scorcher, on Rough Rider 1.75 wheels - they fitted easily with a little stretching.

Does anyone have a good reasonable place to buy Tamiya tyres from?
I always find these are really expensive and I need a new set of Rough Rider tyres.
Hi Andy, try Modelsport, they list a set of 4 rears (or front/rear for the Brat) for a (very) reasonable price, they are cheaper than for a pair of Buggy Champ/Rough Rider rears.
