#494028 Matching Handsets to Receivers

Posted by waterbok on 30 April 2013 - 10:43 PM

Try the search fuction, I believe there is quite a good thread about this somewhere on TC explaining why certain brand 27mhz TX won't work with other brand Rx.

edit: think i am mixing up am and fm, the problem lies with different brand 40 and 75 mhz FM (frequency shifts),  27 am should be no problem matching.

did you test with a matching pair of 27 am tx and rx cristals?

#484459 Question on increasing steering in an offroad 4WD

Posted by waterbok on 16 February 2013 - 04:07 PM

Yep tires can make a big difference, had a discusion with a friend who complaint about grip, untill his fronttires came off
So I would like to add the obvious, glueing the tires to the rims, that might improve steering too.

2s lipo should work, but I dont think it has a lipo cut-off so you would need an extra item that warns you when the lipo start running low.

#473630 Eurgle Spektrum compatible receivers - anyone tried them?

Posted by waterbok on 28 October 2012 - 05:23 PM

those are the ones that probably only work with the 'air' transmitters, I have got one from hobbyking that also works with the 'ground' transmitter like dx3e and dx3c.

this one OrangeRx GR300 Spektrum DSM2 3Ch 2.4Ghz Ground Receiver
and I think thats curently the only one for ground the others are all air receiver
