Where are you based ?
I've just restored one with new body and some other parts, been waiting 4 months for some decals, getting fed up waiting now so might let mine go for the right price.

Got the Vajra shell painted this afternoon - debated for far too many hours on a colour. Boxart black is boring, gunmetal was a safe (and one i normally like) choice, but felt it too dark and the Vajra deserved something a bit more daring. Its now sporting a lovely coat of Faspearl Lime Green, backed with Fascolor white and windows smoked with Fastint.
Not many Vajra around, so this one must be unique i reckon ![]()
Only the decals to go now ![]()

My Yeah Racing black alloy hubs/knuckles turned up today - nice quality, everything fitted together as well as the Tamiya plastic items and sooooooo much stronger. Well impressed and a far better partner for other alloy components.
Recommended.

Paint the body yellow to match the wheels ?
Tamiya's usual part sharing - Lunchbox are yellow wheels too, although why on a MP black edition they can't put the lunchbox black edition wheels in is a little strange !

I've seen a very tentative price of 200USD which would suggest a DT02.
$188 pre-order here .. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10224134
which is 50% more than the DF-02 Aero avante, and almost double the price of a DT-02 buggy, from same seller
seems more in line with DF-03 chassis prices
The DN-01 Zahhak was model 58477 so you never know what they'll do !

Dave dont you wish they would supprise us as they did with the Re Re Sand Scorcher ect ? Not looking good based on that pitfull list is it
ah the list will get bigger - I think there will be another model added at least, they can't fill hobby shows with hop-up/coloured parts.

Ah the joys of eBay
JAson often has the hotshot re-re transmission parts bag for sale - its sillly money from normal outlets but he sell them for around £22 that includes all the gears and the propshaft.
As a lot of the BigWig is common to boomerang and hotshot there's bound to be a load of spares kicking around the forum - i certainly have the blue front shock 'towers' new on a partly used sprue, may have other smaller parts as I've just restored a Boomerang and Super Sabre. I have a fair few yellow CVA bits kicking around too.
Get a list up and we'll see what we can do..
EDIT - just had a look in the spares box..
new still on sprue C1 (front hubs), plus C2 , C5, C7, C8 and C10 unique to Bigwig
new still on sprue E2 (2) E10(2) and E11(4)
used front arms - no cracks, but some wear n tear on the underside
front axles
all plastic and metal parts to connect hubs to front arms
new plastic gearset (think theres a full set )
new driver figure sprue
set of four triangula wheel adaptors (maybe not needed for the moon wheels)
used Boomerang steering mechanism - bit worn but not seen , maybe different to BigWig ?
May have a set of used rear arms too, but these may be cracked

Tonight i continued the Optima Mid build up - not spent much time tonight but i'm already ahead of where I thought i'd be. Gearboxes, new belt and new lower belt cover in place, all suspension arms fitted and the front uprights / hubs installed. Only issue now is my new titanium turnbuckles only left Honkers today so it might be another 10 days before its a roller on its wheels.
Will give me time to finish the main chassis and sort the electrics i suppose

#491191 Cheapest parcel courier?

Not had any issues with myhermes other than them failing to find my office for a delivery once. Bear in mind a lot of their delivery staff are just individuals in their own cars. Some are very careful, others almost look like they thrown all the parcels into their cars.
I sent the twin detonator and sand master using myhermes. No problems bit there were very well packed to be sure. When I sold the monster beetle I used city link, again packing very well. If you want insurance etc most places seem to work out about £9-10 for a complete car, still cheaper than RM. In fact parcelforce can be cheaper than RM nowadays!
