Hiya All, I have been restoring an old vintage Supershot, and not too many dramas, as I have a fair grasp of all things Hotshot..
BUUUTTT.. i have put it together with all vintage parts EXCEPT for wheels and gearbox parts.. the problem I have is the diffs slip horribly as they are all assembled..??!??!??! I have vintage everything including "C" clips & the actual steel gears themselves, and I think that is the problem as it is not an issue with "E" clips in place, the "C" clips allow a bit of slop in the slots/slits they sit in and it allows under pressure the outdrives move outwards and allows the bevel gears to slip..
Soooo I guess my question is are the gearbox parts different or are the metal gears different, either are impossible to get a hold of so want to only hunt and pay crazy for the item I need... I'm assuming its the gears as some have said the gearbox halvbes are identical but I am still doubtfull...
Hope this makes sense....!!

M-06 questions..?

Hi Guys, Just built an M-06 chassis and have some issues with the steering that need enlightning...
STEERING, the main rod that drive the steering from the servo seems to be a little sloppy and hence makes the steering track slightly to the direction last turned...! And also turns left way more than right...??
I have changed the arm to a more solid setup and adjusted the servo/horn several times but seems to make no difference..?? So do I need an aluminium steering setup..??
Just can't get to seem to get it to track straight...!!!

Just wondering what other tyres can I put on the original rims for this range of cars...?? I think they are 1.9".... The original ones are too dear for me and they really don't wear well for a runner...
