I have recently dug out my old (original) Hornet and am in the process of cleaning it up and restoring it.
I has been sitting in a box for 20 years or so and I got it out with the intention of getting it going again for my son. . . . but now I want it! :-)
Since then I have taken it for 2 runs and on the second run the differential started to make a horrible whirring sound.
To be honest I was surprised it still went after so many years. So I opened the diff, to find this in pretty good shape (some wear on the shafts) and a small brass bushing loose in the casing.
I have found a PDF of the manual but an finding it difficult to identify the part.
Could anybody help me out as to the name of the part and where it goes?
