A parcel from Japan that arrived in the UK on the 29th has now been sitting awaiting customs clearance for nearly a week now and it's really starting to cheese me off. Is this normal? What's the longest that people have had their stuff sitting with the dreaded VAT man?

I'm considering buying something direct from Japan but from the price I am being quoted it seems that EMS prices are more expensive from Japan than Hong Kong. Has anyone else had this experience too?

Thinking of buying a kit from these guys in Germany... http://www.modellbau-seidel.de/ ....just wondering if anyone here has bought from them before? More specifically to the UK? Their prices are pretty good and I assume that there is no import duty to pay?

If you bought from them were there any issues to report?

Anyone used this stuff? I assume it goes on the outside of the lexan shell in the same way PS-55 Flat Clear does, but what is it's purpose? Is it to give the shell an even glossier look than standard or is it just to give it a protective coating from scratches etc whilst maintaining the standard finish? If it improves the finish that would be quite impressive as most lexan shells seem to be pretty glossy looking already when new.

Pleased to see this coming back? Could be classed as a re-re-release as the original two Cossies, 58112 & 58125, were on the TA-01 and 58335 when originally introduced was really a "tribute" re-re of 58216 which was on the TL-01.

I was pretty confident this one would come back but have to admit I was really hoping they would bring it back on the TA-01 as they have had no problem bring back stuff like the F-150 Baja on it's original chassis.

Oh well, nice to see the Escort body available again, pity about the lack of a cockpit though.
