Had tamiya cars in my youth (cheetah,sand rover,Hornet ) +others, but always had to sell the first one to buy the next :o(.
Then got into 1/12th carpet racing which was too expensive for me at the time so sold up .
In the loft recently found some old bits and pieces (holiday buggy) went on the net and found Tamiya club !.
That was it, came to the 'Spring Drive' on the Saturday (God it was cold)
Now have a couple of cars and I am looking to add to them.
