Thanks for stopping by. I was fortunate enough to have the Ligier JS9 Matra CS as my first real rc car back in the 80's. After I ran that car into pieces, I then went on to Sand Scorcher, Rough Rider, Hotshot, Blackfoot, etc. Back then I never got the 3-speed trucks because I felt they were too heavy for me to carry around and too complicated to drive. Now I have several of them as I'm old enough to appreciate their beauty and complexity in design. I was an avid racer in the 80's and 90's. I used to tour all of the local race tracks and have amassed a pile of trophies. I remember 15 years ago most people were into off road cars. Then the TA01 and TA02 sedans came and changed the scene of rc racing. I don't race much anymore and have taken the hobby of collecting and restoring Tamiya cars. Like many other collectors here in TC, I'm trying to collect the top 100 cars. But I think it's going to take me sometime to achieve that. : )
