Tamiya owner since 1990 I left the hobby for years without a precise reason and I returned to it in 2008 for a sort of fatal attraction with Tamiya Rc cars. I'm very happy that Tamiya decided do re-release its best sellers because are all the cars I desidered when I was a teen and, IMHO, spite to modern cars are much mechanically interesting. I own several Tamiya cars some are in running condition (I do not own 'shelf queen'), some are involved in never ending project and some are disassembled awaiting for a better future.
I'm permanently looking for a donhor Mad Cap for a resto project of my first Tamiya.
I constantly hope for a Monster Beetle and a Porsche 959 re-re.
