I bought a TL-01 Ford Focus for a family member some years ago and soon after ended up buying a TL-01 Impreza and an FF-02 WRC Peugeot 306 for myself! They were only run occasionally, but were great fun. Although those were the first cars I bought, I always wanted a Manta Ray when I was a kid, and recently got the idea to get one off eBay. This has since been 'restored' and converted to the point where there's not much left of the original, and it's more Top Force Evo than anything else! This got me pulling out all the other cars too, of course. The FF-02 has been turned into a brushless M03 Mini Cooper, and my TL-01 became a Nissan Silvia for drifting. These were joined by a nitro buggy (a 1/8th Kyosho Inferno with a .28 engine) for a bit of bashing with a friend who also has one. What sort of makes me laugh is that every time I go racing with other people who have 'proper' racing buggies and cars, they always end up breaking them somehow! They all seem so fragile compared to my Tamiyas, all of which just keep going despite the abuse I give em... Long live Tamiya!
