I first got into the R/C hobby in 1988 when I was stationed in Iwakuni, Japan in the U.S. Marine Corps, I have always enjoyed model building from a young age beginning with statics then onto model railroading and then R/C. My first R/C was the Blackfoot followed by the Clodbuster and Midnight Pumpkin. My Blackfoot always traveled with me wherever I went in the world ( 6 of the 7 Continents) and it even took a swim once in the Mediteranean Sea!
I have about a 25 car collection consisting of mostly vintage models that I always wanted but couldn't afford until now later in life. Most are in the stages of rebuild/restore and when each gets finished I will add to my showroom.
I have met, traded and corresponded with many TC members here, this is a great community which I will be part of as long as it's around!!
