I collect Tamiya F-1 cars for the most part. Been collecting for 10 years off and on. Right now I am back into it (2010). I have all F-1 bodies produced by Tamiya from 'Road Wizard' down to the latest 'Ferrari F60'. I also have various chassis: F101, F102, F103 (in its many interations), F103L (Indy cars), F201, and now the F104 chassis. I have about 25 chassis in all so far so I don't have a chassis for every body set. I am working back the other way now, from the 'Road Wizard' to get the older F-1 and F-2 cars. They are a bit harder and more expensive to come by. I have secured three old F-1 chassis (Ligier, FW-07, and BT-50) and 4 F-2 chassis with some pretty beat up bodies (Ralt, March, Martini Renault, and the Formula Honda) to go with them. So I am in the restoring mode on these. This is going to be fun or interesting to get these older cars into good condition lacking available parts! Any help would be appreciated !!
