Hi, I'm now 42 and got my first rc car in 1985, a Kyosho Optima which I played with as a toy for a few months then lost interest. I thought nothing more about the hobby for around 25 years, before rediscovering my old Optima in my parents loft. After renovating it , I really got the bug for vintage RC cars and have since bought and renovated many vintage Kyosho's for friends and my own collection. I'm not that interested in driving these things anymore, but get a kick out of renovating them back to box art if I can. All my cars have full electrics, often vintage, as they have to work, not just look good. I have learnt alot from the resources on this site, and made some mates through trading and comments left. I hope my cars will also help out those trying to renovate old cars. I am now getting into RC boats too, so check out my showroom ! Feel free to ask any questions about my collection.
