Wyoming: Why i need to stay away from tamiya sales
A great price for a great platform! Glad I picked 1 up before they were all gobbled up. And a few cheapo body sets too.... :)

steve3smart: My first f1. this cs needs a lot of tlc
A nice project. I really like the early F1/F2 tamiya kits and their attention to detail. You're driver looks like he is from another place and time though :)

gt6++: A nib 5000mi from it's box....
I think I made the right choice leaving the box behind. Formula kits are easy to transport with few parts and flatter bodies. I would love to have the original lotus, but this will have to do.

gt6++: Black martini
Hi Alex. Does the old rubber hold up well? I would be afraid that it might prematurely crack or tear.... Maybe I am being too gentle. :)

gt6++: A restored mk1 runner
Thanks for the info kontemax. I have a slight dilemma as I don't really do shelf queens. Despite this I have kits sitting on shelves, but that is more a problem of time, or lack there of! :) I really only brought the car up to runner status....

neobrunox: For tamiya ta02 gp project
Very cool. I would be weary of running it offroad. It seems as though belts are exposed. I vote for GTR.

gt6++: Gb-02 conversion
NoSlack; the frog body fits right up even with the new front end. No need to cut any thing. Skottoman; I think the speed 300 is already quite fast! I do have a brushless set up, but it is in my GT-01 that I haven't run yet. These tamtechs are great fun indeed. It's a shame that they have been discontinued from what I understand.
