stickerbod: Retro look for the c1
End result looks fantastic mate. Scheme matches in perfectly to the body lines.

Toykid: Srb manx front end
Thanks James. Must be a new feature in Rhino5. I don't see it anywhere in Rhino4.

Toykid: Very close to being complete
Wow wow wow! You're skill in Rhino is mind blowing! I'd love to watch over you're shoulder for a few weeks and see how you do it.

Franklin: Scorpion scorcher pt 1
The track is the width from centre of left tyre to centre of right tyre. Wheelbase is length between the axles front to rear. How much wider does the Scorpion rear suspension arms make the SRB compared to the standard arms is what I was asking?

Franklin: Scorpion scorcher pt 1
How much does the Scorpion rear arms widen the rear track? I've been scribling on paper with similar ideas the last few days, but haven't come up with a solid solution for the outdrive cups, angle of the arm to the chassis and the final shape of the trailing arm. I want to try and get rubber boots over the dogbones to make them look more scale too. This CNC'd chassis is still awesome!

beefmuffin: Update on nib collection
Oh, let me loose in there with a screwdriver and a Tamiya tool! :P JK Need some shelving units to stack them in now. And at the rate you've collected them I'd go for extra (like double) shelves than you need.

Biscuit: Touchwood 1/12 scale bluebird k7 first run
Wow, it gets along well in that video. The real K7 is 26'5', in 1:12 scale that's 67cm, and in 1:10 scale that's 80cm. At 76cm long that's about 1:10.6 scale. What are you powering it with?

lemonslip: Fox runner
A different paint scheme that works well. You can reset the free length of the springs by removing them from the dampers and giving them a bit of a stretch. Just make sure the two rear springs are the same free length when done. Avoid using aluminium Tamiya pinions as once they wear to pointed teeth they will cut up the rare spur gear very quickly. Horrible crunching sounds from the rear end when taking off could also be the driveshaft hexes inside the rubber boots. I thought the gearbox on mine was toast too and it turned out to be the driveshafts too worn. I replaced my standard driveshafts with Thorp dogbones on my runner Fox to stop it happening again.

KyoshoCope: Fairey huntsman
At 30 inches long as a 1:10 model that would make the full size one around 25 foot which would be around right, if not a bit longer upto 30 foot long (1:12 scale). The real boat plans I have here of a very similar 1950's boat are 28 foot. A big trailer behind one of the Tamiya pickups would be spot on.

Origineelreclamebord: The preview of prototype no.2!
Cool concept. I'd hate to be the poor driver trying to see over the front damper tower though.

Top lookin Cruiser! Very scale. Why Tamiya hasn't done this has me stumped. It's a no-brainer.

That's some seriously detailed work. Sets a high standard for the rest of the vehicle he sits in to match it.

Swarm: Part of my collection.
Nice kit! Almost had one of these back in the 90's, but the fools at D*** Smith built it while I had it on Lay-By, so I made them order me in a new unbuilt kit which they could only get the Subaru TA03 instead. Son just bought the ST184 (FWD) version of this model as his first real car too. Sporty little car to drive.

@kontemax: If you've followed the forum threads on these type of cars, you would know that splitting the gearbox is not an easy process and not one that you would do unless there was an issue inside. This gearbox is very similar to the Jet Hopper Turbo which I took photos of as I built it with bearings.

Road Burner: Rc-10 box-art replica project ii
Beautiful example mate. Really liked the look of these back in the 80s. On my wishlist for sure, but don't think I could justify the cost.

Thommo: Ta02t f-150 (wide track)
Looks great mate. Few of these popping up around the place and so there should be, as it makes for a very capable 4WD stadium truck with the few light mods fitted.
