blackfoot dave: Green machine
The original Chrome had rubbed off so they were cleaned well and resprayed with Testors # 1290 Chrome spray. The paint on the body ended up being a little too thick as you get that sometimes with metallic paint, but good enough for a runner.

beefmuffin: Nib 58056 body set (mint)
I have this bodyset also, been packed away for many years.....the price tag on mine says $ 39.95 (in 1990). I don't see in your pics but there should have been an antenna tube and a screw bag with the front grill stay in the box also, just an F.Y.I. Like most, I miss the boxes also!!

One of the best scale buggies Tamiya has ever made, and I agree on the black centers for the wheels. Nice touch on the 'blacked out' silvercan.

Thanks for all the great comments guys, dust is a big problem and I think eventually I will have to make some doors to seal out the dust. The last two photos show how it looks after I bribed my 13 y.o. daughter to do a little dusting.
